- October 25, 2006 - FUNDRAISER FOR JONIE, DOUG & BEN KOCH
Spaghetti dinner on Saturday, October 28, 2006, at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 804 North Cape Rock Drive, from 5-7 p.m. Ben was on the team and a friend of many still on the team. Prices: $7 adult, $4 child (ages 5-8), Under 4 eat free!
- July 26. 2006 - Some of you may remember Ben Koch. He swam on the swim team for about a year and a half. A little more than three weeks ago Ben mother Jonie Koch fell ill and has been in the hospital. She is currently at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis in ICU. Many of the swimmers on the team are friends with Ben. I have been in contact with Doug for the last few weeks on Jonie’s condition. Doug has set up a site for Jonie at the following link for friends and family to stay caught up with Jonie’s condition. It is a good way to stay in contact with Doug and Ben in their time of need. http://www.caringbridge.org Once at that site, click on the link to visit a Caring Bridge site in the upper right hand portion of the site, then type in joniekoch. Our thoughts and prayers are with them. We wish Jonie a speedy recovery.- Karl Larson
